Curse

Hello boys and girls,

My first charecter was a Warrior/x (yes unlike most warriors i did change my secondary a lot) but, i haven't used him to do anything for 2 months now as i just love my monk, mesmer and necro charecters to much.

So, help me decide people, create an ele or a ranger?? I've tried rangers before but just didn't like the play style, and i've never tried an ele...

I'm also one of those people that like taking a charecter though PvE onto PvP rather than leaving a PvP slot open. Why? Because i can.

I'd say go play the warrior some and see how you like it. I was to that point, needing to delete one and thinking it would be my warrior as I too hadn't played him for a while. I wanted to make an elementalist but didn't have an open slot.

First I took my old warrior out for a spin, did a couple of missions, and discovered that I had grown as a player and so found new ways to enjoy playing the warrior.

So try again and if you still enjoy the casters more then make an elementalist.

Do any of your other characters have Ele as Secondary?

If so, you know what an Ele will be like (except, of course, with LOTS of Energy!)

Oh, if I were you, I would definitely pick a ranger. You will be surprised how strong ranger is. All those spirits you can use, all those traps you can put up, and most importantly, ALL THE INTERPUT SKILLZ you got.

I used a ranger secondary before, and was able to do the quest"Undead hordes" at lv 7 with henchies by using spirits. And I have the most fun playing ranger. Trapper ftw. If you wanna PvP, I'm telling you, trapper is a great asset to a hall-holding team.

Don't forget the barrage hack and all ten speed boost skills

Well i bit the bullet and went for Ele, as one thing i used to hate was air spiking or trying to beat on people with wards up... So, if you cant' beat them.... I've already got a mesmer that i can use for most mesmer flavours so an inturpet/degen charecter i already have, yesssss <ahem> broke into Yoda speak then!

Then of course i have my Necro for all those spamtastic curses/minions/blood skills etc, and then my beloved Monk for, well, just about anything!

As i said before, i for one love what rangers can do, they along with mesmers are the most underrated, yet most useful charecters in the game, anyone who states otherwise is obviously a muppet. However, i've tried a few rangers now, but, i just couldn't get to grips with it..... think it might have been due to the "incident" i had a few years back with a real bow.... but we won't go there!
